It is with regret that the owners of TradeSports.com decided to cease the operation of the TradeSports platform.
Since Tuesday November 18th 2008 no new markets have been listed and no new deposits accepted.
On Friday November 21st 2008 all open markets were paused and closed for expiry. The expiry price set for each contract was the last closing price set by the Exchange but cross-referenced with a number of independent other sources to ensure there has been no price manipulation leading up to the expiry. The expiry price set by the Exchange will be final and will not subject to change in any circumstances.
On Friday November 28th 2008 all markets have been expired the Exchange and members may withdraw their funds as normal.
From November 28th at 17.01 ET all members who have not requested withdrawals will be contacted by email to arrange for a refund of their deposits.
To receive your final TradeSports balance in the shortest possible time we recommend you allow us send you a bank wire transfer. To receive your funds by bank wire transfer please send an email to help@tradesports.com with the following information ($20.00 fee):

TradeSports account number or username
Your date of birth
The answer to your security question (e.g. mother?s maiden name, place of birth or "memorable address")
Bank account name (must be the same as your account name with us)
Name of Bank
Sort Code/Routing Number
Bank account number
SWIFT code or IBAN number (if outside the US)
Address of your bank (street address, city, state, post code)
As an alternative which is unfortunately slower due to post and clearing periods, you may wish to receive your funds by regular check which will be posted to you ($10.00 fee). To receive your balance by check please provide send an email to the above address with the following information:
Your full name
Tradesports account number or username
Your date of birth
The answer to your security question (mothers maiden name, place of birth or "memorable address")
Your correct postal address
